The Design Story
Patina Design Studio was engaged through a Full Service Design scope to create a sophisticated family home centred around functionality, connection and long-term liveability.
The design focused on creating interiors that felt calm, refined and highly liveable without becoming overly formal or trend-driven. Spatial planning played a key role in shaping the experience of the home, with careful consideration given to circulation, openness and the relationship between shared living spaces.
Architectural detailing, bespoke joinery and layered material selections were used to introduce depth, warmth and visual cohesion throughout the interiors. A strong dialogue between art, furniture and materiality informed the overall direction, balancing sculptural detailing with the practical rhythms of everyday family life.
The result is a home that feels warm, expansive and quietly sophisticated, balancing architectural clarity with comfort and flexibility.
